GeezType for macOS

macOS Digital Download
GeezType turns the English letters you already know into Ge'ez script. Type "selam" and get ሰላም. No character charts, no memorising key positions — if you can say it, you can type it.

It installs as a native macOS input method, so it works in every application: Pages, Word, Safari, Mail, Slack, Notes, Messages — anywhere you can type. Switch between Ge'ez and English from the menu bar or with your usual input-source shortcut.

The text corrects itself as you type. Press "s" and you get ስ; press "e" and it becomes ሰ. All seven vowel orders are covered, and a candidate popup appears next to your cursor when a character has variants — choose with the arrow keys, a number key, or the mouse.

Includes:
• Ge'ez numerals (፩ ፪ ፫) and punctuation (፡ ።)
• Menu bar item for quick switching
• Native support for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs
